1. Send shivers down sb's spine

Shiver意指“颤抖”、“战栗”，能让人脊柱发颤，也说明事情相当可怕。

例：The thought of what might have happened to us sent shivers down my spine.

一想到将要发生在我们身上的事儿，我就不寒而栗。

2. Chill sb to the marrow/bone
