Yesterday our class’s Christmas party was held on schedule.Twenty-three persons took part in the party. we sat around one big table.DRUMMER and QIGUOREN were good organizers. And they were also the responsible hosts.They provived us a good environment to communicate. So thanks them here. LARRY was a kind teacher ,with the help of him ,we relaxed and opened our mouths .After two hosts’ passionate speech, accompanied the voice of “cheers”,the party began
formally.
The fisrt section was to deliver your opinion on a specific topic.LARRY prepared a topic for everyone. The fisrt one was xiaosun,,a humour man ,made a good beginning for us.And then one by one ,everyone was careful and waiting for their turn.When it turned to me ,the delicious food was put on the table.We began to eat.But i was very nervous, this was the first time i spoke English in front of so many people.One of my classmates asked me before that what you would do on the party.I told him that I would eat as more as I can.but now I was focusing on what they said and thinking about my topic.Sometimes I nearly forgot to eat.
After the first section, Some of our classmates brought us excellent performances.Drummer is not only a good drummer but also a good singer and dancer. SIYU was talent in dancing.QIGUOREN’s Korean song took us to feel another country.
The second section was to debate.We were divided into six groups, there were two girls and a boy in one group.Though we were not professional,we tried our best to do it. I still remembered the last argument clearly,the topic was “do you think the women are as important as the men or not?” The girls were clever and brave, they made the men admit that women are as important as the men and the women should be respected.
How time flies! An interesting day passed.And JIHAI gave me a mission:Writing an article to record today. Though my English level is limited ,I do it.
