2. preoccupied

occupied的形容词意思就有“有人居住的；使用中的”，以及“忙于；感兴趣的”。

4. compose yourself
compose的动词含义有“使平静”，compose yourself就是“使自己镇定；使自己平静下来”。
而compose your features/thoughts是“使表情（或思绪等）镇定”：
