Police in Shenzhen are punishing drivers who dazzle other road users with full-beam headlights by making them stare into the lights for a minute, it's reported.
据报道，深圳警察对于乱开远光灯扰乱路人的驾驶员采取让他们看远光灯一分钟的处罚方式。
Shenzhen Traffic Police posted photos of the campaign in action on their official Weibo account. "Tonight we are carrying out punishments using a high beam.Once caught, you'll sit on this green chair for 60 seconds," the post reads.
深圳交警在他们的官方微博账号上展示了此次整治行动的图片，微博写道：“今晚整治乱开远光灯，查到就坐这把‘绿椅子’好好体验一分钟！”
深圳交警表示，此次整治行动主要是“两看两考一处罚”体验式执法，“两看”即让违法者现场适度体验自己车及其他车远光灯照射，感受危害（experience the high beams and their impact），属自愿不强制（this punishment is voluntary not compulsory）；“两考”即民警现场考司机何为远光灯、如何正确用，并讲解；“一处罚”是处罚300元记1分。
