1. Stumped
表示问题太难被问倒了，或者被难住了，都可以用stumped来形容。
例：I'm stumped. I don't know how they got here before us.
我是真搞不懂，我也不知道他们是怎么比我们还早到的。
2. No way out
用上这个短语时，说明你已经无路可逃，成了小困兽一枚~
例：I see no way out of this impasse.
我无法走出这一困境。
3. At one's wits’ end
Wit有“智慧”之意，如果一个人的智慧用到头儿了，则说明他真的是没招了。
例：He is at his wits' end because of the tough situation of the company.
公司的困境使他一筹莫展。
4. At the end of one's rope
除了用智慧的尽头来形容没招了，英文还有一个短语是用绳子的尽头表示“山穷水尽”、“实在没辙了”
例：I've been dealing with their lies for too long. I'm at the end of my rope.
我跟他们的谎言打交道已经很久了，真是没辙了。
5. It couldn't be helped.
这个断句从字面上也不难看出它的意思，表示怎么做也没法改变现状，无能为力了。
例：Well , if he doesn't want to come, it can't be helped.
