少年儿童是祖国的未来和希望，六一国际儿童节 International Children’s Day 也正是庆祝小朋友们健康快乐成长的节日。
已经过了庆祝年龄的小伙伴们可以来学学和child有关的英语表达。
要提醒大家特别注意的是，单词“child 儿童”的复数形式是“children”。所以，如果要说“我有一个孩子”的话，应该说“I have a child”而不是“I have a children”。
和 child 组合常用的表达有：
1. Only child 独子
例句：He is the only child inthe family. 他是家里唯一的孩子。
2. Child-free 没有孩子的（地方）
例句：Many young people prefer child-free resorts when choosing where to stay on holidays.很多年轻人在选度假酒店时会更喜欢选择没有儿童入住的度假村。
3. Child labour 童工
例句：Using child labour in England is illegal. 在英格兰使用童工是违法的。
4. Child-friendly 适合儿童的、对儿童友好的地方
例句：It can be hard to find child-friendly restaurants. 找适合儿童的餐厅有时候不那么容易。
5. Childcare 儿童保育
例句：Some women are unable to return to work after having children because of a lack of childcare. 有些女性在生了孩子后因为要照看孩子而不能返回自己的工作岗位。
6. Childminder 照看孩子的人
例句：Good, trust-worthy childminders are in great demand in big cities. 大城市里非常需要好的、让人信赖的看孩子的阿姨。
7. Child benefit 儿童津贴
例句：Child benefit helps working parents support their families. 儿童津贴会帮助双职工家庭支持家中的生活。
8. Inner child 心中儿童般的情感
例句：Celebrating Children’s day gives me a chance to reconnect with my inner child. 庆祝儿童节给我一个找回我心中儿童情感的机会。
9. Child’s play 非常容易做的事情
例句：Using mobile phones to pay for taxi rides these days is child’s play. 现如今用手机付出租车费是非常容易的。
10. From a child 自幼，从儿时开始
例句：She has always shown a keen interest in music from a child. 她打小就对音乐特别感兴趣。
11. With child 怀孕
例句：I haven’t seen Mary for a while. She is big with child.我很久没看见过 Mary 了，看样子她快生了。
